The 2-inch exterior precast concrete skin and components of a SlenderWall building panel are 30 lbs. per square foot. This represents 1/3 the weight of a traditional 6” architectural precast panel, and 2/3 the weight of brick masonry. Beyond sheer durability and cost-effectiveness, the engineered composite design of SlenderWall (integrated metal stud frame) provides superior water-tightness over brick and mortar joints.

The lighter weight per square foot eliminates vast amounts of unneeded concrete as required with traditional architectural concrete construction. That means reduced installation schedules, costs, and increased size of exterior panels.
